Appraiser Education / Experience

Glenn J. Rigdon, BS, BSCS, MA, ASA (grigdon@cox.net) was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Economics / Statistics in 1976, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems in 2001 and a Master's Degree in Administrative Service in 1993, all of the Degrees were earned at Northern Michigan University located in Marquette, Michigan.  A summary qualifications page is available online.

He was licensed as a real estate agent in the State of Michigan in 1975 and as a real estate broker in 1976.  He was also licensed in Michigan as a real estate appraiser when licensing began in 1991.  Appraisal licenses have been held (without known complaints) by Mr. Rigdon in Michigan, Wisconsin, Colorado, Utah and Nevada between 1991 and 2008.  He has held broker's licenses in Michigan, Arizona and Nevada, and he has been a broker continuously since 1976 in one or multiple states.

Mr. Rigdon was employed by the Arizona State Land Department as their Economist in the early 1980's, and he held the position of Assistant Condemnation Coordinator with the Nevada Department of Transportation in the late 1990's.  Both positions involved Mr. Rigdon in appraisal related tasks.  Appraisal courses were taken by Mr. Rigdon from a number of educational providers between 1980 and 2008.

Initial appraisal education was completed in Arizona (Arizona School of Real Estate) with many other course taken over the past 30 years.
